Women in Project Management Summit 2019

    About WipM

The Women in Project Management (WiPM) event is a natural evolution of PM Summit's founding principle and challenge. Like many other professions, Project Management is capable of gender balance, especially due to the attributes required to perform the role. The organizer's vision for this event is to become a forum for women in project management to network with their peers, hone their skills and engage in the community as it develops, all while further promoting their profession.

This one-day event follows the highly success of the PM Summit, with inspiring thought-leader keynotes, industry-leading speakers a fascinating panel discussion.

    About the Organizer

The PM Summit was first established in 2015 in response to the growing trend in all business sectors towards incorporating project management into their organisations. In today’s environment the importance and visibility of Project Management continues to grow and has never been higher or more vital. PM Summit is the organizer that stands behind the one-day annual event that takes place in Dublin, Ireland.

The first PM Summit was created as something unique to be of interest to both the veteran and the inexperienced project manager, allowing the exchange of ideas with peers, while networking with innovators and decision makers who affect industry and global change. While the live industry-focused summit experience is at the core of what they do, over the years their event has evolved into a community of people both absorbing and sharing their knowledge with all those involved in conversations over networking breaks. Knowledge is of no value unless cultivated and shared, and PM Summit events create environments for sharing, while delegates allow growth to take place.

The organizer did not stop there, therefore due to the growing trend of female speakers and attendees at their main event, in October 2019 they decided to host their first Women in Project Management (WiPM) one-day event at the Convention Centre, Dublin.
