    About Project Management in Practice

Since 2007 Boston University Metropolitan College is organizing its annual Project Management in Practice Conference with different themes. This year the theme is All About Balance: Sustainability in Projects, Programs, & Portfolios. The key points of the conference are to:

    • Share the Project Management Body of Knowledge.

    • Motivate and train young professionals in PM methods.

    • Provide a strong practical focus on behavioral science, communications, and soft skills.

    • Attract industry practitioners and decision-makers to improve their technical competencies.

    • Maintain an aspect of Agile and lean methods.

    • Recognize Boston-area professionals and organization.

This year, the focus of the conference is on a more holistic, thoughtful, more connected, long-term view of projects and their outcome, with a more enterprise-level program and portfolio flavor.
