The AT&T Project Management Center of Excellence (PMCOE) training program was developed as an internal initiative by AT&T to promote and encourage a project management culture with consistent high standards, provide PDUs to AT&T's PMI-certified Project Managers, and to improve organizational, team, and individual competencies. The AT&T PMCOE training program is a series of live and prerecorded webinars covering specific project management competencies, such as Intermediate Project Schedule Management, Project Cost Management, and Human Resource Management for Project Managers, to name just a few. Additionally, the soft skills Project Managers need to provide optimum team leadership are included in courses such as Virtual Collaboration, Conflict Management and Organizational Change Management. As a result of their participation in the PMCOE program, AT&T's Project and Program Managers are equipped to further ingrain professional project management into the corporate culture and improve project management competencies, processes, services, and tools.
