Project Management Future of Web Apps Las Vegas Conference 2011 Published on 27 June 2011 - Revised on I’ve never attended the before, but I was able to obtain a media pass for it and had hoped that I’d be attending it this week. So far it’s looking doubtful, but I’m going to be receiving access to session videos within a week after the conference so either way I plan to provide some feedback for our readers here. As a project manager and IT consultant, I there were a few sessions that I was particularly interested in. Specifically one session called “Starting Your Startup” and “What Happens When Business Meets the Real-Time Web” looked especially interesting. How relevant these are to project managers…I’m not yet sure. I do believe, however, as our IT world is changing and we are often servicing startup clients as much as we are big corporate customers, remaining on the cutting edge of web app development and how it can help organizations gain traction in the marketplace is going to be critical to everyone – including project managers. Information on the conference: The Future of Web Apps Vegas (FOWA) is a 3-day conference aimed at Web Developers and Entrepreneurs.
