Project Management Institute Opens Call for 2010 PMI Professional Awards Nominations

On the heels of a successful PMI® Global Congress 2009-North America, commemorating the organization`s 40th anniversary, the Project Management Institute (PMI), the world`s leading project management professional membership organization, has opened the call for nominations for its Professional Awards Program. Through this program, PMI recognizes outstanding achievements in project management, including those of project professionals, scholars, organizations and their successful and innovative projects and products, as well as continuing professional education providers and authors.
While perhaps best known for the coveted Project of the Year Award, PMI Professional Awards include:
- PM Distinguished Project Award
- PMI Community Advancement Through Project Management Award
- PMI Distinguished Contribution Award
- PMI Eric Jenett Project Management Excellence Award
- PMI Fellow Award
- PMI Linn Stuckenbruck Person of the Year Award
- PMI Research Achievement Award
- PMI David I. Cleland Project Management Literature Award
- PMI Continuing Professional Education Provider of the Year Award
- PMI Continuing Professional Education Product of the Year Award
- PMI Project Management Journal® Paper of the Year Award
