Learning Tree Introduces New Course: Preparing for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® Exam

Learning Tree International (NASDAQ NGM: LTRE) has announced the introduction of a new course entitled Preparing for the CAPM^®Exam. The Project Management Institute’s Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)^®credential signifies proficiency in fundamental project management knowledge and skills. Over three days, attendees will learn the terms and definitions of the PMBOK^® Guide and prepare for the exam. This course features extended class hours, providing attendees with the 23 contact hours/PDUs required to take the CAPM^® exam.

Attendees will learn how to:

Decipher the processes and knowledge areas of the PMBOK^® Guide – Fourth Edition
Identify significant steps of the project life cycle
Master key terminology and definitions found in the PMBOK^® Guide
Examine the PMBOK^® Guide tools and techniques essential for CAPM^® exam success
Evaluate your exam preparedness and create a personalized plan for self-study

2. This course can also be attended remotely with the Learning Tree AnyWare™ online training platform that allows attendees to join this course from their home or office.

3. Preparing for the CAPM^® Exam can be delivered on site at a client facility as a private, customized event.

Preparing for the CAPM^® Exam is aimed at those who are new to, or have limited experience in, the field of project management. However, if attendees have 3-5 years’ experience, they should consider taking Course 276, Preparing for the Project Management Professional (PMP)^®Exam, to prepare for the PMI Project Management Professional (PMP)^®exam. The CAPM^® exam is applicable for those who do not meet the requirements to take the PMP^® exam.
