NEWTOWN SQUARE, Pa. & BELO HORIZONTE, Brazil - (Business Wire) Peter Mello, SpS, PMP, of Brazil was awarded the Project Management Institute (PMI) Eric Jenett Project Management Excellence Award for his outstanding contributions to the practice of the project management profession and his demonstration of leadership and initiative while advancing project management concepts, techniques, practices and theories.



Mello is the chief information officer (CIO) at X25 Treinamento e Consultoria (X25). He is also a consultant in project and portfolio management, emphasizing risk and scheduling management with the application of Success Driven Project Management methodology. Mello develops restrictions-based scheduling and provides project management training and consulting services to governmental and industrial organizations in Brazil. He creates and provides software and materials to professional project managers. His free project management training course, GP2000/InteliMedia, has reached over 20,000 subscribers, including nearly 2,000 for “A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide)—Fourth Edition.”
